Unlucky thirteen...the event I was so looking forward to was canceled...
So, I woke up at three (as usual) and couldn't get back to sleep [I just spelled that speel...] until about thirty minuets before I had to get up. It sucked. Somehow though I wasn't tired, and still am not [although my spelling begs to differ]. Didn't even bother planning an outfit for today like I did all last week. I did for tomorrow though. ;D
History was awesome, we got behind a bit so I ended up not having homework. At lunch I worked up the courage to ask Candice her Gaia screen name so we could talk more (yes I'm that shy DX). I got a...strange short story to read in Creative Writing about some stupid narcissistic fifteen-year-old girl. It was a good read though, had a hard time putting it down, haha.
Bus was late getting to school this afternoon, or rather we had a sub so it parked on the wrong side of the bus loop and we had to wait for it to come around...was pretty scary. I actually got home at a decent time though thanks to Joel, who served as navigator halfway there and knew which stops to avoid~ I also noticed he looks strangely like Scott...only younger. Creepy as hell. @_@;
So I got home about 5 30 hoping to get right into my event. It hadn't started yet so I got to my homework, then dinner and by the time I got back I had found that it was canceled. Made me sad. But I got caught up with my homework, so I guess it's for the best.
Apparently Scott and his band are playing their first gig downtown this Friday...I kind of want to go, because it's all my friends and such, but I don't because it'd cost me $10 I'd have to get from my parents, who no doubt would make me pay it back ten-fold when I got back. And I'd probably end up spending the night at Iris', making me take the deal of chore switching my father put in place last weekend which I don't want to do to prove the system's ineffectiveness. Kind of depressing thought though. I wonder what they'll play. Eh, thinking about it's ruining my good mood so I'll stop and go to bed now.
